Use the Current Detector Constant
Introduction
This calibration method configures the HP 3048A to use the Detector
Constant currently in memory. This eliminates the time spent calibrating
the AM Detector Constant. The AM Detector Constant in memory is the
value that was determined by the last AM Noise measurement made
(unless a stored Test File has been loaded). The Detector Constant value
appears in the Calibration Process display.
The Detector Constant is valid for repeat measurements of similar devices
as long as the same detector is being used and the input power levels here
remained the same (within ±0.3 dB).
