Troubleshooting Using Diagnostic Test
4. Troubleshooting
Test Items The following test can be selected. To execute the test you select, click
“Execute” button.
• A1 Board DC-BUS Test
• A2 Board DC-BUS Test
• A1 Board Internal Level Monitor Test
• A2 Board Internal Level Monitor Test
• Source Power Accuracy (Step Attenuator) Test
• Source Power Linearity (Power sweep) Test
• Receiver Absolute Gain Test
• Receiver Compression Test
• Receiver IF Range Test
• Handler I/O Test
When each test is executed, the test dialog box is displayed. The
following screen is an example of the test dialog box.

To execute the test, click “Execute” button. To return the
E5061A/E5062A Diagnostic test program dialog box (Main Menu),
click “Back to Main Menu”.
The test program will prompt you to connect cables or Short
termination to the E5061A/E5062A. Follow the instructions as shown
below on the E5061A/E5062A display for performing the test.
