Function Details
SMU Pulse
SMU Pulse
The source/monitor unit (SMU) can apply voltage or current pulse. The pulse width
and pulse period must be the following values.
Pulse width 0.5 ms to 2 s, 0.1 ms resolution
Pulse period 5 ms to 5 s, 0.1 ms resolution
The setup values must satisfy the following conditions.
• period ≥ w
idth + 2 ms (f
or pulse width ≤ 100 ms)
• period ≥ width + 10 ms
(for pulse width > 100 ms)
To Set Pulse Output
The following points must be noted when setting the pulse output.
• Cannot use the 1 nA output range and lower ranges.
• Cannot use multiple measurement channels.
• The measurement channel uses the co
mpliance range. The chann
el cannot
perform the auto ranging operation or the limited auto ranging operation.
