Wavelength Calibration Test

Perform the Wavelength Calibration test to check wavelength

calibration.

During the test, the alpha (656.1 nm) and beta (486 nm)

emission lines deviation of the deuterium lamp are evaluated.

The test should be done with water in the flow cell.

The 1 nm slit is moved into the light path and the gain is set to

zero. The largest emission lines deviation is displayed.

At stage 6, choose to use this result to recalibrate the detector by

clicking Yes. If the deviation is small, click on No to ignore the

results.

At the end of the re-calibration, the largest emission lines

deviation is evaluated again and displayed on screen and also in

the maintenance audit trail:

D/A Converter Test

Perform the D/A Converter test to check correct operation of the

digital-analog-converter.
