Communications Parameter Group

Master module HPIB Address:

Select this option if the HPLC chain is controlled via a GPIB

communication and enter the GPIB address of the Master

module.

NOTE: To check the GPIB address value of the Master module, refer to the Appendix at

the end of this manual.

HPIB Hardware:

If the HPLC chain is controlled via a GPIB communication, select

the name of the bus previously configured in the HPIB Hardware

scrolling list.

NOTE: For more details about the Bus configuration, refer to the Configuring the

Communication Server section in this manual.

Master module IP Address:

Select this option if the chromatograph is controlled via Ethernet

communication and then type the IP address of the instrument.

Miscellaneous Parameter Group

Check or uncheck the Galaxie run started by this module (No

controlled autosampler) check box. This box should be checked

if a non-controlled autosampler present in the system is cabled

to this module to give a start signal to the 1100 module. The

Galaxie run will start as soon as this module is started.

Options Parameter Group

Check the Active Seal Wash box if the Active Seal Wash option

is installed on the pump. In order to preserve the seal, the seal

wash option permits to wash the back side of the seal.
