Basic Digital Operation
Using the Dual ARB Player
NOTE There can only be one AUTOGEN_WAVEFORM file in memory at any given
time. Since all ARB modulation formats use the same waveform file name
(AUTOGEN_WAVEFORM) you must rename this file, clearing the way for a
second CDMA waveform.
5. Press
CDMA Off On until Off is highlighted.
The AUTOGEN_WAVEFORM is in use while the ARB modulation format is on; this will prevent
you from performing the modifications to the file demonstrated in the following task,
Creating the First Waveform Segment. Because of this, we have turned the CDMA format
off so the modification can be accomplished.
Creating the First Waveform Segment
1. Press
Mode > Dual ARB.
2. Press
Waveform Segments.
3. Press
Load Store until Store is highlighted.
The Store choice lets you select with files in volatile memory, which is where the
AUTOGEN_WAVEFORM currently resides.
4. Highlight the AUTOGEN_WAVEFORM file.
5. Press
Rename Segment > Editing Keys > Clear Text.
6. Enter a file name (for example, 64CHF) using the alpha keys and the numeric keypad.
7. Press
Enter.
Generating the Second Waveform
1. Press Mode > CDMA > Arb IS-95A.
2. Press
Setup Select > 9 Ch Fwd.
3. Press
CDMA Off On until On is highlighted.
4. Press
CDMA Off On until Off is highlighted.
Creating the Second Waveform Segment
1. Press Mode > Dual ARB.
2. Press
Waveform Segments.
3. Press
Load Store until Store is highlighted.
